Meet Our Doctor

Wendy N. Carbone, O.D.


Dr. Wendy Carbone is a Board Certified Optometrist. Dr. Carbone has been providing comprehensive optometric services including refraction for glasses, contact lens fittings, glaucoma testing and comanagement of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy screening, cataract evaluation, and screenings for other ocular disorders through a thorough, comprehensive dilated eye exam.

Born in Rockland County New York, Dr. Carbone moved to Florida in 1983. She received her Bachelor of Science, Microbiology and Cell Science major from University of Florida in 1988 and graduated with honors. Dr. Carbone then received an academic scholarship to attend the University of Houston, College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992, graduating magna cum laude.

After 26 years of private practice, the goal of the office is still the same, to provide every patient with the best quality eye exam possible. A lot of time is spent with each patient in order to make sure they not only get the most accurate prescription possible, but also to screen for any ocular diseases to make sure they can keep the vision they have for the rest of their life. Every patient is treated in the same way we would treat a family member.
